PISTONS AND PISTON RODS

The pistons which we supply are made of steel, cast iron or aluminum alloys. We provide pistons for one or multi-part constructions. In the case of pistons made of aluminum alloys, we additionally harden external surfaces in order to improve their durability.

Piston rods are mainly made of forged steel. The surfaces of the pistons co-acting with the seals may be nitrided, coated with tungsten carbide coatings or ceramic coatings in order to obtain the required tribological parameters.
